A couple weeks ago we started learning about the water cycle. We checked out two books from the library, one was specifically on the water cycle for preschoolers and had some great graphics! My oldest loves the rain, so she was really excited to see how it came to be!
Our first lesson we reviewed the books and then painted a water cycle. Over the next week we randomly talked about it and then I made a bag for our window for the girls to see an example of condensation and precipitation. Next time we have a sunny day, we're going to put a cup of water on the back deck and check it periodically to see how it evaporates! We've also been doing coloring pages and reviewing pictures such as this: http://michelerosenthal.com/watercycle.html
The water cycle is fun and easy earth science lesson to do with preschoolers! Share your water cycle activities too!
